Bus from Cape Town to Bloemfontein: Tickets & Schedules

Bus terminal was overcrowded and chaotic. Staff unhelpful when trying to obtain information about where to go for boarding. Bus late

My experience was very bad . The bus arrived late and I got a budgetliner instead of mainliner without any explanation and I was uncomfortable

Intercape bud did not accomodate in the Mainliner Express Bus but instead gave me a Budget liner at first the after that they accommodated on a different company bus which is a Tourliner & imagine i paid more money for that Mainliner.

Their services was really good and very friendly. They were really professional and patient.

I didn't enjoy that the bus was 2 hours late for departure from Cape Town and 3 hours late for arrival in Bloemfontein. There were only 2 refreshment stops in Colesberg and Langsburg which are far parat from each other however the bus made multiple stops along the way.

The bus is so comfortable

It was quite cold, I mean the wind was coming directly from the top of my head as if the windows are opened. I enjoyed how they drived

The 2nd driver did too much tailgating and risky take overs. The seats are very narrow. The toilet was very clean and functioning well

I have to respect the bus's punctuality. However, we were uncomfortable as passengers because the driver was rushing. Once more, the bus was chilly. Windows don't shut down correctly

The charging units didn’t work and seats were dirty but appreciated how it was on time

The Driver was a good driver, an insident happened were a driver of another vihecle drove straight to our bus at the back, now we had to wait for two hours

The staff is very nice, bus on time, they communicate well. As for the bus, I won’t be using greyhound anymore, their standard is not the same since it came back. Uncomfortable 12hr ride, bought premium ticket, using same bus yet we pay different prices, cockroaches are a lot, the bus smells bad due to the toilet. Why cant they fumigate their buses really? Very uncomfortable sitting on chairs with small/big cockroach on chairs

I loved the old man's driving skills. That old man is truly one of your best drivers provided he was very friendly and funny.

They beaten an old men because he wanted to go and pee ,I had bad experience ever the driver taking people who didn't pay for tickets to make extra cash for themselves.they also took full payed sit for child to make money the kid had to sit on floor when we complaint they threaten people and lie that they drunk

Terrible service. I was told no bus was travelling to my destination when I got to the station. Never informed yet I gave my number and emergency contact number.

The bus should depart at 6pm. At 7:30 I was finally put on a bus. At 4:30 am, the relief driver woke up to take his turn. I joked with him. He asked me where I get off. I said Bloemfontein. He said this bus does not go to Bloemfontein!!! Thete we're 8 of us put on that bus, and the driver did not know we should go to Bloemfontein. At 9:30am. We were dropped off in Queenstown, 25

The bus arrived late and only departed Cape Town after 21h15, following multiple unscheduled detours. Approximately 50km before Bloemfontein, the bus was stopped at a roadblock and it was discovered that the operating permit was invalid. The driver misled passengers, falsely claiming he did not know why the bus was stopped. Several passengers had no passports or identification and were removed by officials. The bus was escorted to Lengau Testing Centre in Bloemfontein and detained for several hours. Officials were preparing to issue a R12,000 fine for non-compliance, which was later reduced to R2,300 after intervention by another passenger. The owner of Atlantic Star Bus paid the fine, confirming regulatory enforcement. The bus had no working air-conditioning and the engine was left idling for hours, raising serious roadworthiness concerns. By 13h30, the bus was still detained and there was no certainty of lawful continuation. I was forced to arrange alternative transport and paid R258.00 for an Uber. I arrived more than 7 hours late.

I only enjoyed that they were on time,the bus was cold the whole night air conditioning not working,& there was uncontrollable cold air coming from air conditioning
